Five posters from the “Imposter” series were selected as finalists in the 2025 Design competition by Communication Arts.
A series of posters for an exhibition that questions the boundary between graphic design and art. Does design become an impostor when it imitates art? The exhibition acts as a typographic speculation, challenging what a poster is and where it belongs. Each piece mimics a different design archetype. “Imposter” refers to the graphic language itself.
The idea behind the series is to design posters in a variety of graphic styles as if they didn’t belong to a single event with a cohesive identity, or as if they’d been “borrowed” from other contexts.
